Carpet cleaners

My very old carpet cleaner has just packed up. So I am hoping you wonderful people would give me your ideas of a new one.

Ideally lightweight as I have to lug it up and down stairs but otherwise I am open for suggestions

I really like my VAX one.

If you shop around, you would certainly get it cheaper than what Vax direct are quoting.

Thank you for that, I shall keep an eye to see if I can get it cheaper. I did notice that Vax seem to mark up which was a bit odd
