Shrunken cashmere

Two soft & beautiful cashmere shawls got chucked in the washing machine (don't ask) They are now shruken, wrinkled & feel so rough. What can I do to bring them back to life? I love these shawls & shed a tear this morning (first world problem, I know)

I haven't tried this but I think fabric softener can relax the fibres so hand wash with it and gently try and stretch them out again while wet, then rinse, dry flat and see how they dry.

I have heard hair conditioner can loosen it too.

Glycerine is another one

If all else fails make cushion covers with them.😊
