how do i get my towels smelling fresh again?

even after i wash them as soon as they are a bit damp they don't smell good. any tips?

Put them on the line to dry.

Giving them wash at higher temperature (60 degrees) should help

when you store them in your airing cupboard, but some lavender betweent hem, a lavender sheet, or a 'bounce' sheet

Kine drying is easily the best (and greenest) way.
However a tiny bit of household bleach will also kill things. Not mixed with detergent though, and you must take care not to add enough to kill the colours, if you care about colours.

also be sure NOT to use fabric softner which sort of binds onto sweat and makes them smell gross.

also i only EVER wash towels (and bedding) at 60c cause otehr wise it doesnt kill the germs anyway
