John Lewis or Richer Sounds?

For electricals, obv. TVs in particular.

I know J Lewis have a great middle class reputation for service, and I guess R Sounds is usually cheaper, but can anyone vouch for one over the other? Esp in terms of taking the TV back and swapping it for one that's not faulty, or maybe another that you might prefer in the light of experience?

I'm in the Surrey area, if that makes a difference.

I always buy from JL due to the extra guarantees and no quibble returns.

Both very good. You may get better spec/range at Richer Sounds but don't forget JL will price match on same models.

We bought a projector from Richer Sounds. It wasn't quite what we'd hoped so we returned it - they do take a percentage off, but it wasn't too much..... Not sure if John Lewis do the same?

Difficult one as have had great experience with both. RS would trump it for me though - we have had excellent customer service when buying and returning.
