I've got two dogs who shed all the time and we frequently walk mud straw etc through the house. There seems to be a wider selection than when I bought the last one.

Apparently very soft a good for sweeping fine dust. Not sure about mud and straw though, have you ever tried one of those with the rubber bristles as sold in Lakeland?
