Are flueless gas fire any good?

Looking to get a flueless gas fire but not sure if they are any good. I'd appreciate the views of anyone who has one.

Yes! We're actually on our second, as the one we bought about 15 years ago was an absolute pup 🙄

It has a glass screen covering the "coal" but you don't really notice it. I can't remember what the figures are but they're very energy efficient, and very quiet. There's no difference in how the heat given off feels, it's not a dry heat like an electric fire can be.
On a practical note, you do have to have a vent fitted to the outside wall in the room it's in, but our fitter put it behind a radiator so you don't know it's there.

They're a bit pricier than a standard gas fire, we got ours from B&Q and it was about £400 I think
