It's all gotten on top of me and I need to do something about it. So CBeebies is on and I'm ready to tackle it. Thought it might be nice to have some moral support and motivation.

I need to put all the clean washing away.
Tidy DS bedroom
Do at least three loads of washing
Clean the bathroom
Clean the kitchen
Sweep and mop hardfloors
Move some stuff in to the garage

All relatively simple except I need to do it all with twin 2 year old DC in tow.

Similar here op. Three baskets of washing to go away and mountains to go in the machine. My 4 year old has just spilled sherbet fountain all over the living room. I don't know where he got it from. Everything needs cleaning and I'm looking around now sure when it got so bad!!!also have a 2 year old in tow.

Upsideout · 13/06/2017 09:26

I thought I'd cleaned up at the weekend Confused.

Kids just seem to attract mess. I've put the first load of washing on and got the clean stuff put away. I just seem to be flitting from room to room doing putting stuff away but I think I need more of a systematic approach.

Yes, although I'm not sure what I'm going to try to do. Have spd Andy know I'm not going to get as much done as I want to! Have advantage of toddler being at nursery, so avoid for now that thing where they follow you round taking everything out of drawers behind you :)

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 13/06/2017 09:31

Me please, this morning anyway! Just got back from school run. Have 4 year old DD here with me but am hoping she might help or at least not hinder too much.

Need to get laundry and dishwasher on first.

ASqueakingInTheShrubbery · 13/06/2017 09:33

I realised yesterday that my house smells of cat. Today I am going to put all the stray objects away, Hoover and mop, febreeeze the sofa, clean under it if there's time, wash the cat beds, and also go to Tesco as we have no food and take a very nervous 3yo to the dentist. I want a nice clean house that smells of clean things.

crashandburnt · 13/06/2017 09:34

Just need to get off my phone.......

Roomba · 13/06/2017 09:34

I'll be joining you alright, as my cellar flooded while we were away for a couple of days. The smell emanating from down there is abominable Sad. So I have to clear and scrub all that out, then clean up my hovel of a (stinking) house. This will not be a good day.

crashandburnt · 13/06/2017 09:35

I'm going to start with my own bedroom so I have one room not littered with child crap.

Upsideout · 13/06/2017 09:53

Roomba I do not envy you that job.

Crash get off your phone! Grin

Well I've done the washing up and even collected the dishes from upstairs to do (we are serious slatterns)
DS room has been tidied.
Now to go round and collect all the laundry and see how bad it really is.

Good luck roomba. Dishes done, first load of laundry in and next load ready to go. Next going to have a quick look at school uniforms then look at some paperwork.

ASqueakingInTheShrubbery · 13/06/2017 10:19

First load of washing on line, cat beds in machine, sofas febreezed, throws ready to go in machine next, going to shops in a minute. The Plan is to mop just before leaving for dentist, so that nobody falls over on wet floors.

Coldhandscoldheart · 13/06/2017 10:39

Washing up done, binkies & bibs in Milton. Grease 2 on telly. About to get the vac out. Sigh.

Coldhandscoldheart · 13/06/2017 10:39

Oh and I sorted the carrier bag stash that was getting out of hand.

Upsideout · 13/06/2017 10:44

Sorting yet another load of clean laundry. Bathroom has been cleaned and washer reloaded.

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 13/06/2017 11:33

Laundry in progress. Gone through about a third of DD1's school uniform. DD2 has helped so has got all her stuff out - will have to tidy later!

Coldhandscoldheart · 13/06/2017 11:56

Vac still in the cupboard Blush have had lunch & cleared the new life forms from the fridge. So there's more washing up to do.
I think the dryer will finish shortly so I can get another load through. Need to put the internet down.

Upsideout · 13/06/2017 12:02

Living room cleaned, DT fed and down for nap. Washing machine has finished so I need to get that in the dryer.

runraggedeveryday · 13/06/2017 12:03

I've managed to hang out two loads of washing and third is going in now. Have tidied and hoovered two kids bedrooms and made a serious start on the third (and worst). Unfortunately I have the four year old twins and the one year old some cereal to snack on in front of the telly while I was busy upstairs and THIS happened!!!!!!!! It's all over the floor too and they've trodden in it all Sad

Anyone want to join in cleaning their house today?
Coldhandscoldheart · 13/06/2017 12:12

Shock and that's why I won't do cleaning when the toddler is around.

runraggedeveryday · 13/06/2017 12:14

I know! I should have known it was all going too well today

crashandburnt · 13/06/2017 12:21

God you have all done loads. Not sure what I have been doing.....

Upsideout · 13/06/2017 12:24

Oh runragged it's so demoralising isn't it? I struggle with two children never mind three.

OP posts:
TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 13/06/2017 12:56

Oh no runragged! Gone through all DD1's school uniform and made list of what she needs for September. Got out all school handmedowns for DD2 but have to go out now so will have to try to sort later.

Coldhandscoldheart · 13/06/2017 13:52

Have packed two more boxes of books & dismantled a bookcase. And had a shower. Will get dressed after I've had a little lie down.

crashandburnt · 13/06/2017 14:45

I have been motivated to properly clean the bathroom. I clean it all the time anyhow but I properly scrubbed it. Feeling very pleased with myself. Have also washed and hung out 3 loads. Very little else though.
