Bar Keepers Friend powder, spray and cream - any good?

Hi - is this stuff any good? Lady in shop said to be very careful with the powder and cream as it is abrasive and can damage things.

What do you use it for? and would you recommend? Thanks

I use it for everything; hob, bathroom, brass, sinks, white trainers, all kinds of stuff, it's very good. But, there is cheaper stuff available that is equally useful. Cant remember the name of it, but I got it from Home and Bargain; it was in a green pot. lasted longer than bkf too.

I use the powder on things like burnt-on food on the hob/casserole dishes. It's very good!

Powder for bath, sink, hob, glass doors.

We use the powder on a bit of damp kitchen paper to clean the inside of the window of our wood-burner.

Yes, the powder. I don't find it abrasive at all.
