Best non branded non-bio washing detergent?

I've used Ecover for the last fee years, quite happily. However, I'm now wanting to switch to cloth/reusable nappies and it's apparently not recommended to use Ecover for them. What's the best non branded/supermarket own brand non-bio washing detergent?

We normally shop in Tesco but have all of the major supermarkets nearby, including Co-op. Sainsbury's would be the furthest to get to but would bulk up if their own brand if its worth it. We are on a budget and try to avoid products that have been tested on animals.

Didn't co-ops own get a Which? or GHI Best Buy recently?
I'm not a fan of non-bio, Persil powder is the only one I've ever found is worth using

I swear by the sainsburys own brand non bio. It's my favourite even over branded.
