Rug/carpet grippers

Can you please advice the best thing to stop my bloody rug slipping and moving all over carpet. Both are quite thick - possibly shag pile (?).
2 heavy dogs and people walking over it means the rug barely stays in place for more than 5 mins.

Have used some corner sticky things bought of amazon which did naff all!!

I have rug grips from John Lewis. They have a very odd texture to them but they do stop the rugs moving. Like these www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-non-slip-rug-holds/p112586
