I've had a large tub of coconut oil I've been using, but it says 'use within one month' and I'm already a few weeks past this.
Still quite a bit left, is there anything I can still use it for?
Don't want use it for cooking.
Thanks

Hmmm, wasn't keen on using it for body either. Thanks though. Any other ideas?

I have to declare that I am not one of those housekeeping trolls from yesterday afternoon!

Coconut oil a few weeks after the BB date isn't going to hurt you. Smell it, if it smells fine it's fine to use. Fat goes rancid when it's off & you can smell it.

Good on wood tables , very thin layer once every now and then

If it is not rancid, you can continue to consume it. I usually use coconut oil on my hair. Heat it to smoking, add some herbs if you like: lavender, thyme, rosemary etc and let them crack and fizz and become crisp. Then wait until it reaches a good warm temp and then apply on your roots with a cotton ball.

I have been buying coconut oil for a few years and my tub lasts several months. I have never had it go bad, if it smells ok I would use it.
