Sainsbury Stopped Slicing Bread

Suddenly my local Sainsburys (Tunbridge Wells) stopped slicing bread for customers - no rational reason given except 'quality issues'. Very difficult for older people and means you cant have nicer loaves sliced. Staff unhelpful just citing directive from head office ! Tesco and Waitrose can do it why not Sainsburys !!

That would be very annoying..

Yes very annoying. Unsliced bread is the bane of my life and it takes about a year on average to attract the attention of the bakery staff.

And why have Tesco replaced the lovely big bakeries they built full of lovely cakes and buns, with a tiny little version which stocks nothing? Angry

Complain to head office? Point out that the service is particularly helpful to older people, those with disabilities etc.
