What do you do with the bits?

You know the little bits of toys scattered around the house? Do you have a central place that all the little bits go into in case they are essential to something? Or are you rithless and just chuck them? I am having a toy sorting session and I seem to have a little pile of "bits"!!!

any crappy bits ie mcdonald toys etc go in the bin!

I have a pot on top of our stereo in the kitchen for all the little car wheels that need mending/play mobil pieces/barbie shoes etc and try to remember to put them back in the correct places as often as I can (not very often tbh .... may do that job today actually...will be an excuse to get all the play mobil out ) Anything that's not worth repairing/returning to the set goes in the bin.

Big jamjar in the kitchen full bits. Playmobil gets thrown in the playmobil box.

we have a big pumpkin pot left over from halloween, called 'the tat bag'

its a godsend and when dd isnt looking then things get taken away by the bin fairy
