I need a new cooker. Most new ones seem to have the flip-up glass lids. I can't have a glass lid, because there are cupboards and things that encroach into the cooker alcove so I wouldn't be able to put the lid up. This seems to hugely limit the choice, which is pretty limited anyway, because I really want dual fuel - my budget is in the £500 zone and it looks like there really isn't much. has anyone had this issue, or managed to remove glass lids? any tips gratefully appreciated!
