My MIL used to do that all the time.

Sometimes a struggle to get them back on though.

and i use delicious smellign ?persil silk wash liquid
am very pleased

depends on the clothese...but i always go with the 'if i f**k it up, i'll just buy more!'

always do cushion covers...never even read the instructions though

i wash my 'dry clean only' ones as well, at 30c

given that they are 100% cotten i assumed they would be fine and sure enough they were

btw i was brave, they were the ONLY covers for my settee!
