How to clean built in electric hob? With pic

So I've just cooked on my new built in his for the first time and splashed some oil on the top - how do I clean it?!

I can't see the oil on the photo, but I have always used hob brite on glass hobs.

It's on the right of the photo, the arrow is pointing at the mark.

If a wipe over with a damp cloth doesn't work we use Hob brite here too, little orange bottle lasts for ages.

Yes Hob Brite. Squirt a little on. Rub with kitchen paper to remove grim and buff with a soft, dry cloth.
