Wax crayon on sofa

Hi my daughter has just coloured my beige sofa with purple wax crayon. Does anyone know the best way to remove it? Thank you.

What's the sofa covered with? Leather, fabric, what,?

Hi thank you for your reply. I managed to get it off with just soapy water. I thought it would be a lot more complicated!
