Getting make up out of carpet

I have very cleverly managed to get a blob of foundation and a blob of lipstick on a cream carpet.

Any idea how to get them out?

Make up remover wipes or baby wipes - I use these weekly on dd's carpet (she's at the experimenting stage!)
