How do I get dried in Jelly out of my carpet

Just moved my couch to hoover underneath it and there's a huge patch of dried in jelly.

Any advice or tips to get it out?

or 2001 Upholstery stuff

then move the couch back

put water on it to make it soft again - then use carpet cleaner

white vinegar!!!

Spray it on and it magically unsticks! i thought i was going to have to trim the carpet!
