luda have a lovely weekend in the disco caravan Hoping you feel better.

tortoise Glad yesterday went well. Here's hoping for good news today too.

Good wishes to everyone, and hopuing those who are ill/ have ill children have a betterr day today.

I'm taking my neighbours manic 4 yr old ds to toddler group this morning. Wish me luck.

Other than that I will be mostly washing today. Just about to put third load in the machine (d2 wet the bed last night and we've been up since 5)

oh jelley sorry you had an early start this morning!

well yesterday only got minimum done as went out at 11am and didnt come back till around 10pm!! didnt even do the washing up last night will need to be getting on!

Morning all,

Not doing too badly today. Did the mission the other day [girly swot emoticon] but i have to make a birthday cake tonight, and i have to tidy house as inlaws coming over on Sunday. Place not looking too bad as i got lots done on wednesday when dd1 was at preschool.

Luda hope you feel better and have a great weekend away

Ds is still v poorly and has been awake for a couple of hours being sick Poor lad is quite distressed about it all
Dd seems better - she's still tired and restless at night but at least hasn't got the temperature and is up for going to school

The best thing today is that FIL isn't coming again till Monday I do appreciate all he's doing (really I do), but the mess is awful and I've found him quite hard work to have around the place...

Have LOTS to do today - will get dd off to school and hopefully post a list later.

Hello to all. Sorry that I didn't come back onto the thread to dish out pep talks to those asking for them and to chat. A message popped up on the PC asking for an answer and the one dh gave me over the phone didn't work so I had to wait until the evening for him to sort it out. I hope that you're feeling better now luda and that any poorly children are now well on the road to recovery.

I did get quite a bit done yesterday. I think I did all of my list. Probably the PC being out of use helped! Today's list:-

Done:-

~ breakfasted
~ kitchen tidied/loaded d/w
~ load of washing almost ready to go on
~ fed neighbours pets
~ filled bird feeder
~ sorted out the ironing I did last night and put in the appropriate bedrooms

To do:-
~ shower and dress
~ put w/m on and strip all the beds
~ walk the dog
~ write a baby congratulations card & post
~ do some ironing
~ sort out bits and bobs, I might even take a look at the mission!

Off to get cracking. See you later.

Morning everyone

Did a fair bit downstairs yesterday so just need a quick tidy up there. Going to spend an hour or two upstairs - tidying up bedrooms, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming and stripping beds for the wash today. Will have to get a move on as I want to take ds2 to mums and tots for a while today.

OK, so here is my list~

~go to shops and PO done
~get video from library to occupy ds done
~take car to garage done
~empty and re-load dw
~tidy upstairs
~strip beds
~wm x2 or 3 - didn't do too well on this yesterday
~dust upstairs
~hoover upstairs
~s&s bathroom
~make cake for pre-school fundraiser - I feel a lemon drizzle coming on
~sort pile of papers on counter in kitchen
~tidy utility room

All this AND cuddle ds at regular intervals too

Shouldbe - hope ds a bit better soon

I have done nothing so far this morning except make the beds and stack the dishwasher. Went upstairs planning to clean bathroom after shower, but decided to spend the time putting on some fake tan instead!

So please ... motivational talk/kick up the bum required for laloop this morning

Laloop Get on with some jobs - think about how nice the house will look for doing them

Our house is a state this morning so I'm going to go (in a minute, really!) and try to focus on the end result when I can sit back at the end of the day and relax...that's what I'm hoping for anyway

Well, I've done a bit more - went up to tidy up dressing table but decided to pluck my eyebrows instead, lol. But off now to do 15 mins tidy-up and then out with ds2. Shouldbe and stacey, hope you're getting on with your cleaning lists and not hanging around here

I just do abit each day. I do washing eachday or every other, then its only small amounts and don't build up. I am a bit of a Monica (friends) cause i can't bare to go to bed with the kitchen untidy. But then i am a bit freaky cause i love cleaning.

I ususally keep on top of the basic jobs, but with dd and ds being ill one after another and round again for the past 3 weeks AND having some work done on the house it's all built up...I now just can't get motivated but have made a start and with the radio on and windows open I'm getting going

Morning all.
One very,very,very happy tortoise here!
Just had a phone call from my sol. All is looking extremely good. The local authority (sw etc) have said that the situation will be reversed with me being the boys main carer and xp1 having the same sort of contact that i have with the boys at the moment.

All will be finalised in a half day court hearing on the 18th April.
