Hi, does anyone know how I can remove mildew from my McClaren pushchairs that have been in the shed? I did ask a while back on another category, but lost my threads

i would say diluted bleach, but it might take colour out....and leave them in the sunshine first for the mildew to dry out, otherwise it will come back

check colour fastness, then use neat bleach and toothbrush. scrub it hard wash it loads of times afterwards and leave to air.

Thanks misdee, I think you can actually get a special type of bleach these days, that does not bleach or ruin fabric. Do you think that would work?

What is the bleach called Wolfgirl?
I get mildew on the bathroom blinds and I am sick of replacing them.

Oooh, not sure CN, but we would have got it from somewhere like Tesco. So take a look on the bleach shelf next time you there. ....something like Oxygen blah blah..... But check the label that it specifically says will not damage clothes/fabric. I dont know when I will be at a supermarket next as DH has started to do the shopping for me - heck! cant complain at that! But Ive had some fab vouchers from Sainsburys - £12 off a £60 shop (I think) so may well visit in the next week or so.

Think it's called oxybleach by Domestos.

Thanks. Will look out for it.
