Sticky sale stickers

Can anyone advise me on getting a sticky sales sticker off please. Well I've got the sticker off and am just left with the glue! Thanks

Sticky stuff remover or soak in warm soapy water.

WD40 - works a dream. It actually says it removes adhesive on the can.

Depending on the material of course, but nail polish remover works well. I have used it on leather when annoying sticky stickers have been stuck inside shoes. Try carefully on small area first though, to make sure the surface can handle it.

Sticky Stuff Remover (from Lakeland) is good stuff.
