I've bought Zoflora, have diluted it into a spray bottle... but how do I use it? Would love some advice. Bought it because i loved the smell, and think i've heard about it, but can't remember what.... Grateful for all help! Thank you

I bought it recently too for the first time and diluted it into a spray bottle. I just use it as a spray in the loo and use it diluted to mop the floor. I was a zoflora virgin tho, so interested to see if I'm doing it right!!

Best tips I've had so far

SOAK A BIT OF COTTON WOOL AND HOOVER IT UP - makes the Hoover smell nice .

I make it up in the sink and wipe down surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom.

Few caps into the mop bucket.

Soak a small cloth in the diluted solution and let try on a warm radiator - smells lovely!

Cleans Windows really well.

In the washing machine with stinky stuff - baby clothes here !

And I put a wee bit into my a steam well iron and spray it on the ironing board makes the clothes smell nice.

Bought the hyacinth one today but it is STRONG!

Hunan rose and bouquets are my favourite but green valley is lovely and clean smelling too.

I dilute it into a spray bottle, spray it onto the carpets and Hoover

Use it diluted to mop floors

Fill sink with hot water and zolflora to kill germs and make kitchen smell nice

Clean inside of the Hoover with it

nursebickypegs · 01/04/2017 20:12

I use a capful when washing my gym gear. My favourites are twilight garden and linen fresh :)

soupmaker · 01/04/2017 20:16

All of the above plus ...

Spray some into the bin before you put the liner in.

Spray and wipe radiators.

Spray and wipe car interiors.

ShutTheFridgeUp · 01/04/2017 20:16

Ooh, I used the lavender one for the first time today (only used the linen fresh before) and I love it!
I chuck a cap full in the washing machine with soda crystals to give it a deep clean.

whatnextfred · 01/04/2017 20:23

Where do you buy this magic stuff?

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 01/04/2017 20:25

Everything really!

If there's one I don't like as much I use it in the bins.

Diluted I put it in a spray bottle and use all over. It's good on glass and also I spray on the floor before I steam mop over it.

Found a load of rare ones in pound world the other day and got a bit excited.

toriah · 01/04/2017 20:33

wow, feeling excited about it now! bought linen fresh and it smells lovely!

thanks again

I love linen fresh too.

Cotton wool pad of it to wipe down bin sides and lid and then chuck it into the bin.
Another cotton wool ball of it in the shoe rack to mask stinky runners!

Also second diluting it in hot water in the sink for cleaning sink and using to wash table/countertop and mop floors.

Great stuff.

RedLemonade · 01/04/2017 20:47

You can get it in Tesco fred. It's ace.

CointreauVersial · 01/04/2017 20:48

Assume you mix it with detergent? Surely it won't be much good at cleaning floors/surfaces on its own?

dudsville · 01/04/2017 20:50

I sprayed it everywhere ala mn. Nowadays though I just tip some into the sink after closing up for the night maybe2 or 3 bugs a week and it smells fresh for days.

toriah · 01/04/2017 20:50

I bought mine in morrisons, but they only had one type. Does tesco stock more varieties? where else could we find it?

dudsville · 01/04/2017 20:50

Bugs? Nights!

Audreyhelp · 01/04/2017 20:53

Love it to clean my blinds .

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 01/04/2017 21:02

Pound shops and shops with a similar ambience like bargain stores have the best variety.
All supermarkets in the bigger stores.

nursebickypegs · 01/04/2017 21:48

Second @AbbeyRoadCrossing; clean my windows with it too

thenightsky · 01/04/2017 21:56

I remember zoflora from when I was a kid. My mum loved the stuff.

Does it still come in a tiny bottle and is bright yellow?

toriah · 01/04/2017 23:25

yes, tiny bottle and bright yellowy-orange :)

I got a mahoooosive bottle of Linen Fresh in Tesco last week. I clean the windows with it in a spray bottle, clean all the kitchen surfaces and the kitchen table, and it's brilliant on shower doors.

Cynicaloldgimmer · 02/04/2017 03:18

It's not a cleaner though, it's a disinfectant. You have to clean first.

toriah · 02/04/2017 09:13

so do you use other cleaning products like flash first and then use zoflora afterwards?

OP posts:
Wh0Kn0wsWhereTheTimeGoes · 02/04/2017 09:39

You only need to use it if you actually need disinfection, so plugholes, sweaty laundry etc it makes sense but I can't understand why you would use it as a general cleaner on carpets, car interiors etc as these don't need disinfecting.
