Any tips on what I can use to clean my gas hob? Currently using surface spray and not sure it's a good idea!

I use a soda crystals spray and either a non stick pan sponge or a micro fibre cloth or both depending on how dirty it is.

The soda dries white so you can see if you miss anything and wipes off easily. If you use a good squirt so it is wet and leave it for a little while it will lift grease off easily and no fumes.

What are your thoughts about surface sprays? I use one so will be glad to learn if it's killing me! A quick spray scrub and wipe down of an evening.

Oops, forgot about this! Thanks for responding. No real thoughts on surface spray other than concerned I'll damage the hob. It also isn't working particularly well on some spots on the discs, burners and bits you rest the pots on.
