Jumper Fuzz - do you know how to get shot of it?

My wool and cashmere jumpers (not posh, £16 from Asda!) are really bobbly and look like i've had them years when i've only worn them all about twice. Apart from washing them inside out does anyone have any anti-bobble-fuzz tips?

Am too nervous to try the razor-blade approach and not sure if Victor Kyam still make the Remington Fuz-away ! Has anyone had any actual success with this?

You can get a special comb thingy from Lakeland I think, that is like a razor blade covered in material that plucks the blobs off without damaging the clothes - a kind a manual fuzz away!! Dead cheap and really useful.

i always use a razor...find it works really well and have never nicked the jumper (which is weird really as i often nick my legs!)

I use a blunt razor. You have to be very gentle and not dig in, keep the fabric taut so that the razor smooths over. Then use one of those clothes brush-type ads or sellotape to get rid of the bits.

I wouldn't do it on very fine things, ruined a Jigsaw pointelle top once, but it's usually OK.

I have a little fuzz remover thing. It takes batteries and pulls bobbles off with no risk of tearing. Can't remember where I got it from but you can find them on ebay.

We have one of those things that lazyline linked to , but it's broken. It's soooo satisfying to use (no, not in that way).
