mission
I must have been doing this too long. How often can you declutter your tupperware?
There is no shortage of other jobs to do though.

OP posts:
ludaloo · 06/03/2007 13:05

I have washing to put away too...not good! I have been keeping ontop of it actually but its getting a bit out of hand again!
I hate doing it!

tortoise · 06/03/2007 13:06

I hate doing it more!

ludaloo · 06/03/2007 13:10

Keep at it GF

yaddah chin length bob sounds nice...I usually go for that...I went shorter though last time and regret it It was supposed to be Posh Spice Stylee but it didn't seem to work out that way!!!

ludaloo · 06/03/2007 13:11

@ Tort

staceym11 · 06/03/2007 13:15

iv put soem maternity tops and bras on, also got loads of baby clothes on for a pitance and no one is interested, think i might charity shop the lot, cant be arsed anymore!!!

ludaloo · 06/03/2007 13:19

Oh...hmm, thats a shame! I usually end up taking them to a charity shop too...can never be bothered to list them on ebay and such like.
I don't need maternity stuff..or baby stuff, otherwise I'd have had a look!

wheresthevalium · 06/03/2007 13:19

OK, I signed up for the flylady website, but 2 slight problems,

  1. I have 23 emails from her
  2. they are arriving at US time not UK, and I'm bugered if I am putting on lace up shoes at 3.30am for anyone

Please offer advice, please please

(I did declutter my kitchen last night tho, the whole room is scrubbed and tidy)

staceym11 · 06/03/2007 13:23

i get my emails late too, but i keep the ones from the previous day and do it at the right time and once im in the routine il unsubscribe from the emails and jsut do what i do and the missions!!

tortoise · 06/03/2007 13:44

I think most/all of us gave up on the emails!

2 Basket loads of washing put away. 1 large basket load to do and my clothes (smallest pile of all).

Now stopping for neighbours before picking DD1 up then DS's up!

shouldbedoingthehousework · 06/03/2007 14:15

I have washing to put away too....and I hate it most of all

Sweet bunny tort, I had no idea...how that's been missed from the hours on MSN I don't know

Haven't done anything else today and don't plan to really! Have washed the throws from the sofa and am waiting for them to dry and will have a scoot round once the kids are in bed but that's it for today... Going to watch Doctors and have a cuppa then play with the kids for a bit...

I never even signed up for the FLY emails, and don't actually use the FLY stuff much - the missions are handy but this thread and the company are the best part

staceym11 · 06/03/2007 14:22

tortoise · 06/03/2007 14:24

satinshoes · 06/03/2007 14:47

hi everyone,

welcome new people

done naff all today.

the worst job is changing the kitchen bin bags.

staceym11 · 06/03/2007 14:49

i only have a pedal bin so changing bin bags not a problem, worst in my place is dds bedroom, dont even ask what she does in there everyday!

oh and i hate ironing
And dont like hoovering!!!

grouchyoscar · 06/03/2007 15:03

DH decreed that 'Kitchen bins are crap' so we don't have one. We just dangle a carrier bag off the fake drawer handle and toss it when full.

Never have to worry about cleaning out the bin!

staceym11 · 06/03/2007 15:07

GO i did that as my kitchen has nowhere to put a bin at Barratts!!!

only thing was my units kept getting dirty and i didn't like the look so we've got a peddal bin on the side that i used to fill with clutter! lol

shouldbedoingthehousework · 06/03/2007 15:18

I like ironing too...and don't mind sorting the washing when it comes out of the td - it's the actual putting away I hate...and I mean really hate (more than tort does )

satin agree with the bins...nasty...and the cat litter tray - eewwww!

Kids are busy messing up my clean living room - tried to turf ds out into the garden but it didn't last long. Dd has had a little sleep but is lively again now..

yaddayah · 06/03/2007 15:53

23 emails no wonder some people think fly is a bit full on !
If it were me i'd unsubscibe fast !
you can just catch up on them on the website.. but tbh now i'm on this thread i just check out the mission and what zone we're in and thats about it

sorry staceys just said exactly that too !

impressive list again grouchy

i do actually like ironing,i'm sad, i even iron teatowels and pants

i'm rubbish at putting it all away.. i always get distracted by something else

Well hair is cut.. i went for it and got the chop -cut short at the back and slightly graduated down to about chin length at the front.. got some nice compliments on the school run .. so sod what dh says (can you tell i'm spoiling for a fight on this one !??)

House is presentable.. i even sorted out the main downstairs toybox and [shame] hoovered inside.. it still had a few dropped pineneedles left over from the xmas tree in there

yaddayah · 06/03/2007 15:56

grouchy.. we do exactly the same.. have a hook in the utility room and just sling a carrier bag on there.. once its full its tied up and chucked in the wheely bin

i used to hate having to clean our old kitchen bin .. after a few days it was disgusting !

grouchyoscar · 06/03/2007 16:02

Yaddah yeah, totally agree. They end up having that icky sicky sweet smell don't they?

Must get some stuff done...hang on, I'be done enough tbh. It will wait til morning

Forgot to mention the emergency washing of front room curtain thanks to incontinent moggy. It's drying over the banister as we 'speak'

ludaloo · 06/03/2007 16:38

Hi

I have put the washing away...oh the relief!!

I quite like ironing too...I like hoovering aswell...infact nothing really bothers me as much as putting washing away! Funny isn't it!

Oh...Actually I really hate cleaning out and relighting the fire!...and fetching coal...

Well dinner is on, dd2 is playing on the V.SMILE, ds and dd2 are playing with the train track (both of them fell asleep earlier not a good sign

Well off to check dinner

xxx

bewilderbeast · 06/03/2007 17:03

plumber has been but has done nothing, can't do it until thursday and then it will be more of a where the f'in 'ell is this leak coming from investigation type thing although worryingly it might be the central heating system (less than a year old) but most of the upstairs bathroom (also less than a year old) has to come out first because its probably (i hope) the shower.
took ds to docs he has thrush (again) poor little bugger is pi**ing needles as its all over the end of his penis as well as his bum and down his leg. It's all appeared since sunday. My lovely mum finished the washing up for me and I have hung one load of washing and put another on. Carpets now covered in muddy boot prints but I can't be bothered fighting with the hoover.
When my dp comes home and can keep an eye on ds I'm going to have a very big drink. Cheers! [getting sloshed emoticon]
