Anyone doing a Saturday blitz?

H is taking the little to grandparents, so instead of doing a nice thing I'm planning to do as much housework as I can :/
I need to:
Iron
Wash
Vac & wash downstairs floors,
Clean bathroom,
Clean oven.
And a few other things.
There's already a wash in, but it's nappies & will take ages.
I also want to start a bit of sorting for planned house move.

Anyone in for motivational check ups?

Yep. I have the morning as kids go swimming!

Need to de mound various areas (🤢)
Sort out clothes/ shoe storage
Clear all the clutter areas
Washing on
Ironing
Kitchen and bathroom blitz...

I wish I could do this but I'm working a split shift today!

just think how tired and accomplished you'll feel when you flop down this evening in your clean house.

I'll be tired when I flop, and still have to stare at all the mess and unfinished jobs

Oh I'd forgotten the de-mounding.
I am still in bed. Which needs stripped.

Slow start though as waiting for hubby to get up before starting ( otherwise he will just grumble about being woken up)

First wash on here.
Cleaning and laying fire.
Then steam mop the front room and dust as open fires leave so much dust.
Then it will be more washing and bathroom. Followed by putting the mountain of clean washing away that congregates on the spare room bed.

Count me in, need to catch up from last week as I was finishing some coursework so housework didn't get done to my standard! Jobs for today

Tackle washing mountain both to wash and put away
Hoover through house
Polishing
Clean kitchen
Clean bathroom
Hoover sofas
Clean out cat litter
Sort kitchen cupboards
Sort airing cupboard
Maybe sort out cupboard of doom if I get time or have enough motivation!

Will try and get some done before I take girls swimming and then stick a DVD on and blitz ☺

Maybe food shopping will look and see if we can hold out till Monday!

Right. They've left! I don't quite understand why it takes so much input from me for them to go out for the day, but there you are, time to get started with the beds, then the oven, then the cupboard doors, surfaces & floors downstairs. So the oven will, I hope, be cleaning itself while I do the other things.
Oh and get dressed. That first.

Okay. How are we going?
Not as far forward as I might have liked a couple of hours in, but I did a quick cupboard clean and tidy in the kitchen and also whizzed round the fridge. Also decluttered some of last night's noodles.

Oven cleaner went on and the first laundry is in to dry. Going to do the worktop and toaster next, then kitchen floor. The it will be time to smoosh the oven cleaner and start the bathroom.

Hmm I started rearranging rather than tidying! However washing is progressing and stairs have been mopped

I am in theory cleaning today, but have yet to move from the sofa... my mums coming round to vacuum tomorrow (I have really bad SPD, not just super lazy! But also that...) so I at least need to pick all my crap up off the floor...

Yes, I had a little decline over lunchtime. And also found a box of chocolates left from Christmas. Which clearly need to be eaten as will go out of date at the end of the month ;)
But still have beds to make and laundry pile to deal with and another wash yo go in. And fifty minutes to do it cracks whip

just gave me whole house the once over as the kids are with there DAD for the weekend. It's only free time i get to do everything lol.

Oh dear- just sat down up look at mn and saw this thread.
I've done one load of washing today and baked a cake. I've just pruned a twiggy plant outside but to be honest I've spent the rest of the day sat around texting and watching tv.
Feel very inspired to start a blitz but think it's a bit late in the day!
I'm guessing there's always tomorrow.....

Storage rearranged (ish) kitchen blitzed, hallway done, third lot of washing on ( including swimming stuff). Still looks a mess

Oven pride is washed off, kitchen floor is clean, beds are made, worktops have been cleaned. Washing is out & back on.
It doesn't feel like very much achieved :(
