Best door mat for muddy cat paws!

I have been looking for a decent door mat to stop my lovely cat putting paw prints over the sofa and our beds. I love him to death but it drives me bonkers especially after I have just changed the sheets! We don't have a porch and he has a cat flap, so he comes straight in and creates his masterpiece We currently have a 'magic mat' which I think is rather lacking in the magic department! Has anyone found a really good mat to solve this problem?

Turtle Mats are very good (I have 3) but nothing will solve the problem, other than getting rid of the cat...

The answer is a mat called a soggy doggy! It's a bit like a bathmat.

I've got six cats (only three go out though) and two labradors and a lurcher. The difference has been impressive with the soggy doggy.

It isn't cheap, but it does work. There are cheaper versions called noodle mats, but I don't know if they are as good.
They knock spots off the turtle mats.

I found turtle mats useless.
