Worried about bed bugs following back from holiday

We've just booked out summer holiday to Scandanvia and I'm a bit worried that we'll bring back bed bugs. Do travellers take steps to prevent this happening? How? Should I spray oh luggage and clothes with something??

What sort of compete dive are you planning to stay in 😂
Even the teens in this family who have back packed ( in eastern Europe haven't found any - and we've all stayed in Icelandic youth hostels etc. Iceland and Norway basic accom spotless IME

Is there a special strain of Scandi super bed bugs?!

Maybe boil yourself in bleach before bed?!

Bed bugs can be found anywhere, it is not related to the cost of the accommodation.

there is no spray or treatment for clothes or luggage. Worry about it if it happens.
