Builders dust everywhere

We've had some building work done and there's a fine layer of dust everywhere! I'm mopping (hard floors) and hoovering but it just seems to move around.
Just keep at it or am I missing a trick?

Have you brushed down your ceilings and walls?

supadupapupascupa · 19/02/2017 15:29

get used to it! I had an extension built before christmas and I am STILL finding the white layer of filth on things. Even inside cupboards!!!!
It gets in the air so you've just got to wait it out I'm afraid. It does go though.....after a couple of months

Oh dammit!! Thanks

Temporary extraction fan?

Henry Hoover and his little brush and dust down the walls etc

I was OCD in the beginning but eventually I caved in after getting sick of having my hard work undone (justifiably admittedly!) every.bloody.day and we weren't even living in it!

We had our house totally renovated, it took 7month to complete, the mess was unbelievable!!
we were always covered in dust, as was the dog, inside cupboards, everywhere.
Like you, i tried to clear it up every night when the workmen went home but eventually admitted defeat.
It takes its own time regardless of what you do!
