I'm hoping that MN collective wisdom might be able to help me!
I have a beautiful Mulberry Bayswater handbag that I've not used for the last few months (I live at the top of a very steep hill and have been favouring a cross body bag so I have my hands free for when I inevitably slip on the ice and fall on my arse). I just got it out of the wardrobe and found melted sweets in the inside pocket which have joined together in a truely disgusting starburst / rolo sticky mess and spread all over the beautiful brushed leather (or whatever the rough side of the leather is called). I'm absolutely mortified that I have treated my beautiful bag (that I feel so lucky to own!) so badly!
Can anyone give me some advice on how to rescue my bag? I'm not sure I deserve nice things any more (sticky sweet disaster in my 30s ffs), but I at least want to rescue this one.
Thank you!!!
