New mop advice needed!!

Today I broke my mop. I apparently don't know my own strength and it was a shoddy design and snapped it while trying to get the pad thing off to wash.
I now need a new one but I can't seem to find one that isn't flimsy and cheap (although I don't really want to spend a fortune)
I have a proper mop that gets used to give the floors a good clean so I just need one that I can give the kitchen a quick do with every couple of days. Please advise!

I have a Leifheit mop with a spinner bucket that is very good on laminate floors, and is much more robust than the old JML mop (same principle) that it replaced. The mop heads then go in the washing machine, but NOT on a very hot wash, which warps them so they don't click back into the housing.

Vileda here - the adjustable handle one in the hope 6'+ DH takes the hint
