OK I don't have a prewash button. I have a prewash programme and it's part of the 90 degrees whites programme

No I can't. It's an 8 year old machine. Has served us well with only 1 repair.

The only way would be to put it on the prewash programm, select the temp to 40 or 60 and then stop it before it goes on to the rest of the programme. Then change the programme to the synthetics or whatever.

I know you think it's the biz, but I've managed 8 years with out it. Is it going to change my life enough to be worth the extra hassle?

You can use it as pre-wash soak (in a bucket )

But I used to use a pre-wash (Napisan, not Bio-tex) + sensitive-skin detergent and everything was a bit grey, like "somebody's mum isn't using Persil" - now I use Ariel non-bio and I'm the other half of that old ad
