Light a flipping bonfire.

staceym11 · 26/02/2007 15:40

tortoise · 26/02/2007 15:58

Washing almost dry. Got that in and put 2nd load out. It won't dry but should dry a little bit(I hope). Next load will be DD2's sheets. Meant to put them in earlier.

My flapjack/cereal bars are scrummy!
Made some normal ones for the DC. I'm going to try not to at any of theirs this time.

Well done GO. You seem to do so much in a day!

tortoise · 26/02/2007 16:13

Oh FFS! Now the other side has a bonfire and he saw me put the 2nd load of washing out.Even said Hello! GGRRRRRRR!

ludaloo · 26/02/2007 17:01

Ooooh we have a neighbour across the way who is always lighting fires....If he starts one while my washing is out I'll be over there with the hose pipe!

go stop and put your feet up now xx

Well I have done some of the ironing...I actually didn't mind doing it!!! (It has obviously been so long since I last did it ) I thought I hated it much more than I actually do !

Well...off to do some tea, was going to be chicken but I had to nip to a friends after picking dd1 up, so it is too late to put it in now, we'll have pasta instead I think.

BFN xx

satinshoes · 26/02/2007 17:25

Cat update - He suffered a fractured pelvis and fracture to his femur. They arent worried about the pelvis as it was a small fracture but the leg was not so good. They had to remove the top part of the femur bone, and also the ball bit of the joint. So effectively he will have a shorter leg, but the vet was confident that he will recover well and regain use of the leg, although there may be some lameness it wont be because of pain. The vet also said the injuries were consistent with being hit by a car and not a fall as we originally thought.

tortoise · 26/02/2007 17:39

Aww satin. Poor cat. Hope he adapts to his shorter leg once he is on the move.

yaddayah · 26/02/2007 19:05

satin aww poor cat !, at least the vet is hopeful of a recovery albeit partial

tort i would be livid about the bonfires .. how rude !

grouchy shouldbe hope you're feeling better

Well after my storming airing cupboard triumph i fear i have rested on my rather crumpled laurels

too many cups of tea, browsing on MN. Queen Anthea .. your crown is safe for the moment !

Better clear up the kitchen its currently covered in ironing and dirty dishes

tsk tsk

Hi stacey&ruby
Dh & I declutter our cupboard in livingroom yesterday & the kitchen.
Not much flying done today. Well I am off to have a cuppa.x.

EmsTomot · 28/02/2007 16:34

Figured this might be the place for a bit of support - joined Fly Lady today and have been setting my timer for 15 minutes around my eight month old.
I enjoyed the black bag declutter of 27 items and have shined my kitchen sink. When I was doing it, I didn't feel relaxed (kept thinking why would anyone take the washing up out of the sink to do this and then dirty it all up again?) I then did the washing up from the morning and put it away and dried my sink - it shined and I smiled - sad!!!!!
I have done one load of laundry and it is drying on the airer and am just wondering where to start tomorrow.
I want to get stuck in but don't want to mess up the baby steps. I am not zoning a the moment but would like a simple day routine to fit around my baby for tomorrow that gets most of the house done - any ideas?

EmsTomot · 28/02/2007 16:35

Just read back my message, you need to know that these are not the only things I have done! Did hoover/throw out rubbish/put clean towels in the cupboard etc - I haven't just accomplished three little things!
And I had my shoes on (until I slipped on the kitchen floor and hit my shoulder on the door frame - I then had a cup of tea!)
