Best use of this wire rack cupboard

Moved into our house 10 years ago and never been totally happy with the way this cupboard is used... could have a move around but not sure if tons are in the best place !? Any ideas, other than tidy it up!?

We've got one of those cupboards. We're fairly 'lucky' in that there seems to be some current of air which keeps it cooler than other cupboards. (I haven't investigated this because it pleases me.)

I generally use it for spare toilet and kitchen rolls, fruit and - with the assistance of an old plastic sink bowl - vegetables. (Paper rolls on both levels, fruit and tomatoes on top, and vegetables on the lower rack. Underneath is used for whatever will slide in their - generally fruit and vegetables straight from purchase.)

I'm conscious of weight levels on the racks but that seems to work out well.

Most of my veg goes in the fridge or cool utility. The bottom rack comes out and knocks the tall sauce bottles over, can't really see what's in there! Thanks cozie x

We have our pots &pans in a corner cupboard like that. Not wire shelves though, some plastic.

Oh Yes - that's just the way that we have it. It's to be determined, I reckon, by having things we don't need to access often towards the back of the racks. Have you worked out the things you don't use much?

I have 2 of those. Pots and pans in one, baking stuff in the other. Makes it all easy to get at. You just have to ignore the wasted corner space!

I have pots and pans in mine. I'd imagine packets to be annoying as they'd slide about when you open it. If the tall stuff annoys you, get a lightweight basket and store them in there on the actual wire shelf.

I wouldn't store tall items where they could get knocked over.

You could take the metal rack out and have 1 or 2 shelves put in, I think you'd get more storage for all your jars and tins then.
BTW, all those sauce bottles, jam etc could do with being in the fridge, sorry couldn't help it.

We've got two of those.

Saucepans in one and baking trays/roasting tins/colander/sieve in the other.

I think they're better with bigger items than tins and packets.

Yes, it does do my head in.. Can't quite believe I've had it like this for 10years..it's not too bad when it's tidy ,but that's not often enough! Been reading Marie Kondo and so inspired to try to re organise the kitchen cupboards. I do bake so plenty of pans etc can go in there. I did think pans when we moved in, but mum said tins...and mum knows best. As for jams etc in there...well. I said to hubby I'll put them in the fridge and he said....No, l hate cold jam on hot toast!! Made me chuckle... will have a good sort out and change round...soon!!! Thanks for all replies xx
