Lakeland Vegetable Preserving Bags

Has anyone tried these? The reviews on their site seem to be mixed. I always have an abundance of carrots and potatoes that need storing somehow

I tried vegetable preserving bags once - can't remember if they were branded Lakeland ones - and gave up on using them pretty quickly. It seems easier to buy and plan the meals accordingly. (And we're a household that loves soups so spare vegetables are always used. Smile)

PS - if you're talking about home-grown crops, I suspect that you'd be better off going for 'traditional' storage methods.

Do you mean the Lakeland green 'stay fresh longer' bags? They are great. I've managed to keep stuff in the fridge fresh for weeks in them, and if you look after them they are re-usable for a while too.
