Can you tell me your can't do without cleaning products/ tools?

I'm a lazy ish cleaner most of the time, but keen to keep my flat as clean & tidy as possible this year!

I'm off shopping today for cleaning products/ tools - can anyone recomments those products you can't live without? Anything that makes life easier? Your laundry smell amazing etc?

Zoflora obviously top of my list!

I love dettol wipes and sprays.

Microfibre cloths, I have hundreds!

A good vacuum... I hoover everything, furniture, curtains, kitchen work tops, the lot.

A good mop.

Bar keepers friend, fantastic and removes stains other things cant touch.

Oh and of course Zoflora!

Hard toothbrush for grout and under taps

Rubber gloves
Washing up sponges
Washing up liquid
Kitchen roll
Anti-bac toilet wipes
Flash with bleach

Anything else is a bonus!

I only buy furniture polish, starburst and bleach. I don't need any other cleaning products as these do the job.

Yes to microfibres cloths. I use my sons' old muslins for cleaning too.

Stardrops, Vim - powder not cream, Elbow Grease (even works on clothes), Bleach. Yes to microfibre cloths here too and kitchen roll for mucky stuff, which saves cloths and double cleaning.

I have a window cleaning e-cloth. It is absolutely the best thing ever.
Cleans glass perfectly without leaving any smears etc behind. You just wipe the window with a damp microfiber cloth, then dry it with the e-cloth. takes 2 mins.

We've just been through a whole house renovation inc. extension and loft conversion and my e-cloth is still god as new and all my windows are lovely and sparkly --rest of the house is still a shit tip mind.

hot water, ellbow grease, good cloths (microfibre)
one basic cleaning product, cleaning soap, a bit of time

no disposable wipes, no bleach, no antibacterial stuff (it kills the weak bacteria and leaves room for the strong bacteria to spread)

I actually like buying cleaning products and so on, so am sad unusual :)

However, these are the essential kit - could probably do without everything else other than these

• Washing Up Liquid
• Bleach
• Cream Cleaner
• All purpose Furniture Polish
• Good Microfibre cloths
• The best, most versatile vacuum cleaner you can afford, don't pay for features you won't use, but personally, everything is 10x harder without a decent vacuum.

My nice to haves

• Glass cleaner (but washing up liquid and water solution can do this)
• Toilet cleaner (bleach can do this, unless you have hard water and need a limescale remover).
• Anti-bac wipes
• Kitchen roll

Have loads of others, but as said, I like buying and trying anything they come up with.

Oh forgot, a good, sturdy mop and bucket or a steam mop.

Cif wipes - soo much better than dettol wipes - can use in bathroom whilst kids in bath and actually cleans etc. Can use on high chair and skirting boards, window frames and stuff too.
Viakal - shiny everywhere in bathrooms and kitchen sink
Flash with bleach - kills the germs and cleans kitchens, bins etc
Bleach for loos and whites

Not quite - your antibacterial reasoning is rubbish! That's in a human gut not a kitchen floor!!

removes grease and stains, and smells like nothing I've ever used. Hated it for months as it "shouldn't work" but now wouldn't do with out it.

Zoflora, dettol wipes, bleach, furniture polish, microfibre cloths, an old toothbrush for fiddly bits, steam mop, cordless vacuum.

Microfibre cloths, bicarb, lemon juice, white vinegar, dishwasher tablets (for cleaning the oven).

That's it.

I don't know what zoflora is. I hate the smell of bleach and when I used to use it i always managed to gets drops on my clothes somewhere cilit bang makes me choke, etc.

I'm not an eco nut, but I just found heavy cleaning stuff hurt my nose or throat and damaged clothes. Can't be arsed with that!
