Good morning

Very pleased to say that I'm feeling almost back to normal this morning
Managed to feel well enough to go out to a party with dh last night which was great fun, really pleased the worst of the bug had cleared in time. Very empty stomach so steered clear of alcohol but had fun anyway
Typically woken up at the crack of dawn by the kids this morning (and poor dh had to get up for work early too ) so feeling a bit groggy.

No work for me today (tomorrow instead) so need to get some FLYing done - the place has been neglected over the past few days. Will have a cuppa and come back with a list.

GO well done, iv managed bugger all today and its not me thats ill its the dcs! have a nice nap, id love one, but at ome with a sick 2yo and 14 week old i dont get much chance while dh is working!

I'm not getting much done either. Have sorted the under stairs cupboard and sorted bits to Ebay later.

2 baskets of washing put away.
Have a big pile of socks to sort into pairs!

I moved recently tort and got rid of all my odd socks but within a week I had a drawer full how does that happen? I thought when I moved and beds were moved etc we would find loads and we found none. Perhaps there is an odd sock fairy out there?

Have not done much today as I ahd to take the kids to ballet for two hours now going out on a bike ride with my youngest.

well dd does not seem to be getting better in a hurry, her temp is still up and capol and baby nurofen not doing a lot! ds is a bit better, but his colds come out mainly as 'ick rather than fever!!

Most of them are not odd its just all the ones that have been washed and dried but not paired up yet! I had some from when i moved too. Like you i thought they would turn up but they didn't! Its only thanks to FLYing that ive finally binned them!!

Feeling like ive done very little today but i have done bits here and there!

DD1 seems ok cold wise today.DD2 snotty and coughing a little bit. Ive just got a runny nose so not bad.

I've just sorted out a huge pile of socks into pairs but am still left with a few odd ones, yes, the odd sock fairy lives here too! I've now put a small basket in my utility room to throw any odd ones in so that they can eventually be paired up.

well iv decided that when i next clear my laundry basket (mid week usually) i will throw any that havn't got pairs of mine and dh's as theres nowhere else they could be, dd i will have to search her bedroom first! lol

Hi all

Done quite abit today and feeling better for having done the following:

Put primer on woodwork in new part of house
finished glossing skirts in bathroom
pulled junk out from under bed and binned alot of it
dusted everywhere in bedroom
hoovered everywhere including under the bed
changed all bedding
put a load in the washer

bring on tomorrows list

i have binned 8 odd socks .. have been keeping them in a box hoping to find the pair .. reckon its been 6 months so sadly the sock fairy has won !

Got loads done today as starting to feel a load better .. cough down to a splutter and 1st day i haven;t thrown up in a week !

Six months seems fair to me. I hve a box for them and am starting the count down from January!

Have now tidied, got school things ready and yippee done the cupboard under the stairs today which was my worst job and I kept putting off. I feel like some order is creeping into my life here and its good!
