The large brush bar has stopped rotating. Have taken it all apart to check for blockages and checked all the connections but still not working. The small head and the crevice tool still work fine. Any other ideas?

No advice about this make but when my brush bar stopped working on the dc40 I watched a tutorial to take it all apart. Still didn't work. Phoned the helpline and a engineer was out the next day and replaced the whole section. I think dyson have pretty good customer care.

Is it snarled up with hair?
