I have just dug the highchair out of the shed for DS2 and the straps are mouldy, I have tried bleach and vanish but it's not come out...any ideas?
thanks

bin it and buy the £12 Ikea one?

do they come off te high chair itself i boiled my old ones for a good hour and then they were reasonable

or do you have the d rings on the high chair cut the old straps off and get some reins

i did consider binning it, it was only £12, but it goes angainst the grain a bit to bin something that just needs cleaning, or i guess i could ge new straps

tinkerbelle - no straps not detatchable - v. annoying, i would have to cut them off.

Have you tried the Dettol Mould and Mildew remover? It's pretty noxious and is in a bright green bottle, i've found it'll clean pretty much anything that looks stained but use gloves and rinse well, it'll take your skin off!

have sent DH to tesco to find somehing in the cleaning section, so i'll see what he comes back with!
