I did it two years ago and stuck to the whole thing. I loved that I could still see the benefits months later in lots of areas so I'm giving it a go again this year. It starts today with a daily email from Apartment Therapy with a task to complete.

Going to do my snagging list this afternoon. Have decided to treat myself to some flowers from Bloom and Wild too, as they are so lovely compared to tesco flowers and last ages longer.

How are people getting on with the floors? I was half expecting this for the weekend as I remember it from 2 years ago. A difficult one to do really well unless your home is already very decluttering and minimalistic which mine isn't really. We are in a terraced house over four floors so I have done the bottom floor which is kitchen / diner. Didn't do the utility or downstairs bathroom as they are in an extension which is soon to be demolished so not going to spend too much time in there! Stairs up to sitting room have been done and DH is about to hoover in there moving sofas etc. We're not going to do spare room either and DD has said she will do her room so hopefully the rest can be done tomorrow.

I have a houseful this weekend so floors are going to have to wait until Monday. Will have to get DH to help me move our bed out as it is far too heavy for me. Probably why it hasnt been hoovered under for a long time! Need to do this one I think.

Going to sign up for this and follow along. I signed up to their 2016 Healthy & Happy Home which was alright, but quite American based (understandably) so I didn't always find it useful.
We have just come back from our Christmas holidays yesterday so my January doesn't really start to Monday so I'll be a week behind. We're in the process of buying our first house so need to give our rented flat a deep clean anyway.

Didn't 'meditate' in any forgotten corner yesterday but didn't have time to do anything really as was really busy but I know where needs the work so felt I could skip this one!!

Eek I'm still behind, or not quite doing it in order. Just got done with floors (ish). The fact that it took several days is a sign that we have too much stuff. And I'm ashamed to say how long it's been since I hoovered under my bed Blush - will definitely get into the habit of doing it more often.

Must admit - I'm now a bit fixated on what's going on underneath some of our appliances, e.g fridge and dishwasher, which must be absolutely filthy. We're hopefully getting the kitchen completely re-done this summer, so we'll have the chance to start from scratch then.

Mini-meditation can happen in the armchair in the corner of my bedroom - it never gets used because DP piles his worn clothes on top of it (drives me mad!).
