Iron

I've had the same iron for more than a decade and the steam function doesn't work. Can anyone recommend a good iron, preferably quite cheap or on sale at the moment?

Anything by Philips. They make the best money

Sorry, meant to say "best irons for the money"

This is bizarre I know but the Tesco value iron is amazing !!!

Pheebs770 · 31/12/2016 22:24

I iron for a living btw

Gwenhwyfar · 01/01/2017 00:26

Well I presume the Tesco value one is cheap so that sounds good to me.

Thanks Pheebs.
Any other tips from a professional ironer? Are those ironing sprays worth it? I dry my clothes on a radiator or clothes horse - no access to a line outside.
I suppose it might help if I ironed while the clothes are still wet?

Not sure why two comments have been deleted. We're allowed to recommend brands aren't we?
