I need your best stain removing tips!

So yesterday I knocked an entire cup of black coffee all over my cream carpet eeeeek!
I soaked it up best I could and put vanish carpet cleaner on it with a bit of good old fashioned elbow grease. It has lifted a bit but it's definitely still there, what's your top tips? Steam cleaner? Professional clean? Rug and forget?

Try a solution of bio washing powder in warm water

ahh coffee stains can be a right pain in the backside to get rid of, i used this stain remover in the past to get rid of coffee stains and it worked a treat:-)
