Bleach is the only thing that works. As well as lots of soapy hand washing.

Had at 6 weeks ago. Bleached whatever I could. Also used the Dettol spray in a can which you can just spray and leave. House stank of bleach but dh and the dc didn't get it. Bleach is your friend here.

Bleach is the best disinfectant, as far as I know. For surfaces that can't be bleached then a different type of disinfectant can be used.

Be careful if you have cats. While chlorine bleach should evaporate and go away, I believe that the chemical in Dettol/zoflora remains on the surface and its toxic to cats who will lick it off their paws.

Just go easy on yourself, that bug has teeth.

I bleached and bleached and bleached the bathroom again over days. Still only one down so far, the rest of us haven't caught it yet. All switches, remotes, taps, bathroom pull light switch. Door handles etc. Use gloves if you can and bin them afterwards. Bin toothbrushes and spray all bottles and whatever there is standing in the bathroom. I also treasured the towels that were in the bathroom, used or not.
