Cleaning green mould from a fence?

Hi there, Just wondering what you thought was the best method for cleaning a wooden fence prior to re-treating? The fence is 100% sound but has quite a heavy covering of green in places. I have a pressure washer available if necessary and there are plants to consider if detergents are used.

Thanks

Treat the fence with a mould and algae killer before re treating it again as this will stop any mould and algae from growing.

Never used a pressure washer. Tend to use an old, potato scrubbing brush, bucket of water and some of that algae killer.

I bought an outdoor mould cleaning spray from B&Q and sprayed it on. Left it for 24 hours and it was ready- clean and nice.
