Where do you buy your towels?

I'm looking for large, thick and pure white (mainly) as unsure of bathroom scheme at the moment.

I'm new to all this house decorating but want nice, thick and hotel-like towels. I'd like quite a few but have no where to look, except House of Fraser/John Lewis but was wondering where others go?

Thanks!

Ours are Christy. We've had them years and they've stayed brilliantly white and fluffy.

PurpleDaisies thank you, i'll have a look online. Did you buy them from a department store?

PurpleDaisies · 12/12/2016 09:05

I got them on sale in Debenhams about eight years ago! I'm sure you can get them in most of the department stores though. They often have outlet shops in designer outlet villages.

I've done quite a lot of testing of this Blush and have ended up with John Lewis, mid range. They have a lot of options, but I have the quick drying and they are fluffy and nice.

John Lewis or the White Company (but WC only when on sale.

Madbengalmum · 13/12/2016 21:35

Christy, very high quality.

BeattieBowRisenFromTheDead · 13/12/2016 21:35

M&S have some lovely thick pricey ones, been v happy with those.

LowDudgeon · 13/12/2016 21:37

I don't like them too thick - Aldi have had towels occasionally recently, in a few colours including white, & theirs are perfect for me (but maybe not for you).

Not much help though if you need them now, I realise!

Have a look in TK Maxx. Matalan's weren't bad last time I looked but maybe not luxurious enough for you.

Lovepancakes · 13/12/2016 21:38

Ours are Hpuse of fraser and I much prefer them to any of the thicker ones we've had - people comment on them and one child cried and wanred to take one home they are so nice to use. They are way comfort than any I've had IMO

White company (on sale). Soft and fluffy and huge bath sheets

Sheridan - I buy them from Just Linens - they do Christy too

I bought some for massage from Musbury fabrics and soon appropriated them for the bathroom. They're so soft and thick and have lasted really well. I'd definitely buy from them again.

Sparkesx · 14/12/2016 09:50

Thank you guys! I didn't realise towel shopping would be so difficult! Grin

I've heard some good reviews about Aldi towels, i'll have a look for the smaller bathroom!

notangelinajolie · 14/12/2016 09:55

Asda 'Super Soft' ones. I have just bought some after looking everywhere for reasonably priced good quality towels and these are perfect. Lovely and fluffy and soft.

OhWellNeverMindEh · 14/12/2016 10:02

The White Company. Don't use fabric softener.

bowchikkawowwow · 14/12/2016 10:49

Matalan about 3 years ago
