Limescale on Stainless Steel?

Emprexia · 16/02/2007 16:21

Anyone got any good tips or able to recommend a product for getting limescale build up off my Stainless Steel Sink so i can make it shine again?

My moms suggested gently using a brilo pad but i'm really not keen.

don't use a brillow pad! you'll scratch it. Try cifs stainless steel cleaner or something like limelite which is specifically for limescale.

Clit bang i was advised not to buy this as i was told it was rubbish. I got some the other day i can't believe how clean it got my bathroom and my kitchen sink!! Now i just wanna go around cleaning things with it. lol sad moo i am

Aloveheart · 16/02/2007 20:52

i meant cilit bang not clit bang. lmao where did that come from, heheheh.

Emprexia · 16/02/2007 21:10

I looked for the Cilit Bang when i went shopping yesterday, the De-greaser is awesome, but just my luck, the shop doesn't stock the Grime & Lime one.

I'll have to pop to sainsburys or Asda and see if i can get it there.

Barkeepers Friend (from Lakeland and I think J Lewis) is v good and not full of chemicals like some other cleaners/limescale removers. Also Astonish do some great cleaning things again try Lakenland or Astonish own site (google and it'll come up). Am bit of an eco fiend but find these as good as any standard products. Also smell much nicer/less "chemically".
