Best way of cleaning baby poo stain off mattress?

That's it really.
Quite a large stain on nice newish white mattress. Breast fed baby poo. Not yet dry.
Don't have a clue what's best!
I fear it will always be a little off-white from now on.

Scrub it with solution of napisan or some such? Just a guess though!

I guess I should try something while it's wet, maybe just soapy water. Just dont want to spread it.

Right. attacking with warm water seemed pretty good.
Then when dry hopefully a stain remover should do the trick.
