alchemist77 · 24/11/2016 16:54

I've decided it's time for a change so am throwing out my old duvet covers, bed sheets and pillow covers and looking for some new ones, any suggestions?

Thanks

What sort of style/colour scheme are you looking for?
That aside, I've found my Matalan set have washed really well, better than others which have cost double the price

really depends on what colour/design you want. I would recommend checking out this store as they have a massive selection of bedding.

I had some from Next which were nice quality for the price.

On the other hand, Matalan's sets were terrible.

If your old ones are still in decent condition, ring your local Woman's Aid and see if they need bedding. I gave them loads a few Christmases ago and they said it was really handy.

Ikea now do duvet sets and sheets in uk sizes.

I like Asda sets. Wash tres well 😊

LowDudgeon · 30/11/2016 11:50

Asda's are very good quality for cheap polycotton IME - smooth & not pilly. I've had much more expensive branded ones that weren't nearly as good.

Ikea's cotton sets are lovely

I have (surprisingly) found good quality from Homebase stuff.

But in general I tend to buy cheaper duvet sets and more expensive flat sheets as I like the feel of good cotton against my skin.

I also buy single colour only as it means I can mix and match.
