smelly clothes please HELP

For the last couple of days whenever i take my washing out the machine, the clothes don't smell fresh? It's like a stale smell and i have no idea what it could be.

Clean the machine. Pull out the drawers and the filter. Give everything a good scrub. There are various products you can use to clean the drum and tubes etc, but bicarb and white vinegar should do it. Lots of things on Google to illustrate.

As well as above, run it empty on highest temperature setting.

whens the last time you cleaned your washing machine? It sounds like it needs a deep clean. use this limescale and detergent removers with your next wash, this should kill any bacteria/germs that have built it inside the machine.

You don't need special stuff: the hottest, longest wash programme with bicarb or vinegar should do the trick. If it doesn't seem better after the first maintenance wash, do another. And stop using liquid or tab detergent and start using powder.
